Turmeric has been used for medicinal purposes in India for thousands of years. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory and can help your heart and brain function. I recently underwent minor surgery which caused some bruising and inflammation in my body. This tonic is great for building immunity and has amazing anti-inflammatory properties. It’s helped me feel much better and I hope it will help you too!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of your choice of milk ( I use almond )
- 1tsp of turmeric
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- pinch of black pepper
- pinch of cayenne
- small piece of peeled ginger root
- 1 tsp of raw honey ( optional )
Directions
- Blend all ingredients together in blender until smooth
- Pour into a small saucepan and heat for 3-5 minutes. Don’t let it get to a boil
- Drink immediately
