I sip on this warm savory tea through out the day which helps heal gut mucosa, improve nutrient absorption and stimulates the lymphatic system which basically cleans the pipes and helps to detox the body! This recipe comes from an amazing book called “The Prime” which fuses ancient wisdom with leading edge science to bring us a guide to health and well being.
This tea is so easy to make and you can put it in a thermos to keep it warm and sip on it through out the day.
Boil 4 to 5 cups of water in a pot and add:
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 fennel seeds
Let it boil for 5-10 minutes depending on how strong you want your tea. Sip throughout the day.
*I like to cut up ginger and add it to my tea as it gives it some spice which helps with my digestion. This is good for people who need to ramp up their digestive system.
*You can add 1/2 of fenugreek seed if you have excess gas production.
* You can add 1/2 manjistha powder if you feel like your lymphatic system is backed up.
