Sautéed Apples Recipe

You know the old saying. An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Here at Lee-Loy we are all about healing the body through food and apples are nature’s greatest form of medicine. These sautéed apples are the first thing I eat when I wake up. Firstly because I love them and they’re good for my dosha (I’m a Kapha so they are perfect to warm me up and get things going in the morning) and secondly because this recipe is super easy to make after rolling out of bed.  Seriously. It’s easy.

Ingredients. 

1 tbsp of ghee

2 apples of your choice.

Instructions

Place the ghee in a small saucepan on medium heat. Peel and slice the apples. Place them in the saucepan and let them cook for about 10 minutes. Less time if you like them soft. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top and you’re good to go.
